Chapter 12

Ice and Kaylen couldn’t agree on their daughters’ nursery for nothing. They argued about the colors and how they were going to decorate it. Ice wanted the nursery to be a traditional pink and Kaylen wanted neutral colors. Since they found out the sex of the baby it seems like Ice just wanted to be difficult with Kaylen.

“Forget it you pick whatever color you want,” Ice said giving up.

“Exactly I don’t even see why you want to go back and forth with me. You know I’ma always win and get whatever I want,” Kaylen said.

“I can’t stand yo’ ass,” Ice said, walking out of the nursery.

Ice had a fitting for his tuxedo with his groomsmen. He couldn’t believe that he was really tying the knot but it was with Kaylen so he wouldn’t have it any other way. His groomsmen consisted of his brother Wade, best friend Jayceon, Donte, and Jared. He and Kaylen agreed on having a small wedding just with their family.

Everything was moving fast but they weren’t rushing it. They wanted to have the wedding a month before Kaylen went into labor. She wanted to be married before she gave birth to the twins. Ice was cool with it whether the wedding was tomorrow, a few months away, or ten years away he still was going to only marry Kaylen. When Ice pulled up to the tuxedo store everyone was already there. They all clowned Ice about getting married. He knew he was in store for a crazy future with Kaylen.

“I can’t believe my sister is really getting married,” Donte said.

To Donte and Jared everything was still shocking. They both had to admit that Ice brought out the best in her. Kaylen was literally a new person and they loved that new side of her. She were genuinely happy and since they met her they’ve never seen her that happy. They slept ten times better at night knowing that nobody was out in the streets doing their little sister grimey. They knew she was in her house at night safe with Ice.

“Are you having a bachelor party?” Wade asked Ice. Donte and Jared looked at Ice waiting for his answer.

“Kaylen isn’t going to let that shit happen. I already told her she can’t have one because there is no need for her to be looking at niggas with my seeds in her belly and she said the same goes for me.”

“Nigga you’re whipped,” Wade said.

“Nigga you’re just young and you’re not there yet,” Ice said. Wade was becoming the same man that Ice is with the same exact cold heart.

“I’m just saying that I love pussy too much to only spend the rest of my life with just one every night.”

Donte chuckled at that one because he knew exactly where Wade was coming from. He had the same mentality but his was worse. Even though he did his dirt in the streets he kept it away from home. He slipped up a few times but he has been extra careful lately.
